ZINE: SNEAK PEEK

This is a spread from the zine I'm currently working on.
I'm working in layers so this is only the illustrated part of it, I used acrylic paints
to add some color.

When I was in Mexico my grandmother use to tell me that an old lady named
Cuca would turn into a witch at night and fly over the town. She would scare kids away if they got near her. So I never did, as I got older I learned that she went crazy one day and killed a boy that was in her cornfields, therefore the stories of her being a witch were told so that all the towns kids would stay away.

AFTER TOUCH SINGLE MIX

CD art work I came up with for Peter Sajche a Houston based
music producer. The idea was just to show movement that
would follow that of the music.

ZINE

"Maria the girl next door turns into a nagual sometimes."

A sneak peek at some illustrations for a zine I'm currently working on.
The zine is titled "The things I was told as a child" which is just about
all the folklore stories that are told within the hispanic community.
The specifics change depending on where they are being told.
The same story will differ slightly in Mexico than it is in Salvador.
